Okay, technically speaking, there are not enough bets – and not enough variations on spellings – for us to complete a listing from A to Z. But you do get our point, right? Let’s get it on then and discuss the most popular bets in the game. The Pass Bet This bet is always made in the come out roll. It also has a relatively low house advantage so first-time players shouldn’t feel too wary when taking the Pass Bet. When the come out roll shows either 7 or 11, this means that all Pass Bet takers win. When the come out roll shows 2, 3 or 12, Pass Bet takers lose. When any other number comes up – like a 5, for instance – the number 5 should be rolled out once more before a 7 is thrown out by the dice. The Come Bet After a point has been established, players may now make a Come Bet if they so wish. A Come Bet works virtually the same way a Pass Bet does. So if the roll comes up with a 7 or 11, the Come Bet takers win. If the roll, on the other hand, comes out with 2, 3 or 12, Come Bet takes immediately lose. If the roll throws out any other number, that becomes the Come Out Number (their point, so to speak). And again, the same rules apply. The Come Out Number must be repeated prior to a 7 coming out for Come Bet takers to win. The Hardaway Bet Let’s say – you believe that your instincts are clamoring to make a hardaway 6. When you make this type of bet, you’re hoping that the NEXT roll would throw out a pair of 3’s. Because that’s what a hard 6 is. An easy six would be something like 1 and 5 or 2 and 4. The payoff for hardaway bets are high as expected but the house advantage are high as well. The Field Bet This is a one-time roll and doesn’t have any need for a point to be established or to be made before or after the come out roll. You can make a field bet any time at all! Now, the Field Bet contains the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12. If any of these numbers show up on the next throw of the dice, your bet immediately wins! If it doesn’t, oh well, better luck next time! Any Seven Bet You can make this bet any time, just like the Field Bet. The Any 7 Bet would win if the NEXT roll would come up with any combination of 7 like 4 and 3 or 5 and 2.
